THE BACKGROUND

We worked with the University of West London through another agency where we ran all the adverting for the campaign. The goal of the project was to fill up all the student accommodation that the university had free and allow them to not worry about having empty rooms. 

We had 2 main challenges as part of this project, these were the limited timeframe to get live as we only had 2 weeks to launch the entire project. The second was that they had a large international student base so we wanted to target all audiences, there audiences could also be anywhere in the world.

THE STRATEGY

We had to move quickly with this project due to the minimal timeframe, this was due to them having a set in stone deadline where people would no longer be looking for accommodation for this academic year. 

Initially we ran with a very targeted social media advertising campaign, this allowed us to be in front of the exact people we wanted to be seen by to help us get the most around of leads within the quickest time frame. We ran a photo/video shoot to allow us to get content for all the ads to really show off the accommodation on offer as they were based in multiple areas of London

We created targeted email based audiences, remarketing and look a like audience to make sure we could hit all the people in different locations within the world that could be coming to UWL and are looking for accommodation. We moved fast to get everything live and set up within 7 days to make sure we got the maximum impact in the quickest time frame. 

THE RESULTS

The results were amazing and really quickly produced! We started to get leads for them within 7 days of signing up the project, with photos and video taken place to make sure anyone coming in was a strong lead. 

We set up and created audience and ran this huge global campaign with amazing results. This was until we were asked to paused the campaign for this year as they had fully booked all rooms! 

This was an amazing call to have as we knew the results we produced has really delivered for the University and allowed them to fill up and allowed them to just get on with signing up the leads than worrying when the phone was going to ring!
