Classroom Direct is a UK based classroom furniture and equipment supplier. As a new growing E-commerce store focusing in on there main product being the supply of carpets and rugs to schools & councils across the UK. They wanted a web store that’s easy to manage, able to market and dominate search results and deliver long term management of sales for the business as they generate all their sales online. We initially built the website in Shopify with us being a Shopify Partner we initially delivered the store to meet full requirements of the business.
Classroom Direct wanted results and that’s why they got in touch, the plan was to build a full eCommerce website to help them fully manage the sales within the business.
Then they wanted a strong SEO & Ads system which would deliver a long-term growth and short-term sales. We reviewed key products and competitors to see eactly where we could win and grow with the marketing as well as looking into core sales seasons as most of the products are sold within a few core seasons.
Lastly we had to create a bigger strategy to allow us to sell into Schools and Councils as these are some of the main B2B markets that purchased the most products within the market.
We then started with a proven 3 step starting process to make sure we delivered the results quickly and effectively:
Step 1 – We researched all of the potential keywords customers were researching and did further research to identify the keywords that Classroom Direct could realistically rank for and target in the early stages.
Step 2 – We optimised the website and Google ads campaign to ensure both rankings, traffic and conversions all increased.
Step 3 – We then further optimised the website based on analytics and website tracking data to ensure conversion rates further increased. This included changing the layout of product pages and category structure of their Shopify store.
As the marketing grows the traffic and sales grew month on month to deliver solid results within the first 6 months. This allowed them to create the revenue to put more into the marketing to get the best results possible for the long term and it allowed us to generate top 3 rankings for the top keywords across Google and Bing.
