Before we start to improve our local lead generation we first need to know where your current online presence is. Now, you can do this by spending hours typing keywords into Google and recording these into a spreadsheet, but we know life is too short and as a business owner you’ve got better things to do with your time. So, here’s your first top tip!
HOW TO ANALYSE YOUR CURRENT WEBSITES’ ONLINE PRESENCE FAST!
Go to this website which should look similar to the screenshot below. Type in your website address, select your country and hit the ‘SEARCH’ button…
Once your website has been analysed, you will see a ‘Domain Overview’ page which will give you a breakdown of your websites’ Traffic, SEO Keyword Rankings, Top SEO Pages and SEO Keywords. You can record the information from this page and store it as future reference.
Next, click on the page links or use the menu on the left-hand side to view more details about your Top Pages and Keywords. Each list shows you how well your website is performing and can be exported out or copied and pasted into a document.
You now know how well your website performs in relation to traffic so let’s now check to see if there are any issues with it. Simply click on the Site Audit menu and you’ll see a list of good and bad things relating to your website.
